Please be advised that Polish passport holders can travel to Thailand for tourism purposes and stay up to 30 days without obtaining a visa. In a case of land border crossing, this 30-day visa exemption will be permitted only twice a calendar year. Where the period of stay will exceed 30 days or the purpose of the visit is not tourism, the person must apply for a visa at the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

Crossing the border of Thailand and using the exemption of visa you must have:

- A passport valid for at least six months at the time of entry,

- Tickets conclusively to leave the territory of Thailand within 30 days ,

- The financial resources to stay (10,000 Baht / person, 20,000 Baht / family).

[IMPORTANT NOTICES]

1. The application for a visa should be submited at least 2 weeks before your planned date for visit.

2. The Royal Thai Embassy doesn't accept any application by post.

3. Polish nationals entitled to a 30-day visa exemption are eligible to enter Thailand without visa through land border checkpoint only twice a calendar year.

4. All applicants must be present at the Embassy to submit their application forms in person. In case of a group of travellers, one member of the group may submit the applications on behalf of the other members of the group.

1 Transit visa

1 REQUIREMENTS

Transit visa is issued to foreigners who wish to cross the border of the Kingdom of the

purposes:

- Travel in transit through the territory of the Kingdom to go to another country of destination or to re-entry of an alien into the country (category "TS"),

- Participation in sports ventures (for athletes and others.) (Category "S") *

* If you plan to stay in the Kingdom longer than one month can apply for a visa for

non-immigrants (category "O"),

- Entry of a person in charge or crew member arriving means of transport to the port, station, train station or on the territory of the Kingdom (category "C")

2 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

- Passport or other travel document valid for at least 6 months,

- Visa application, completed in full,

- Passport photograph of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm),

- Proof of the continuation of the trip in Thailand (eg, confirmed air ticket paid in full),

- The visa of the destination country in a passport or travel document,

- A call confirming the participation of the applicant in the sports ventures

the Kingdom,

- Consular officers shall have the right to require additional documents, if they deem it

appropriate.

3 VISA FEES

Cost of visa: 135 PLN / 1 entry (cash only, please bring the exact amount)

Max. number of entries - 2

4 VISA VALIDITY

The visa is valid for 3 months.

5 DURATION OF VISIT

Travellers coming to Thailand on the basis of a transit visa may remain in the

Kingdom for a period not longer than 30 days.

6 EXTENSION OF STAY

Foreigners plan to stay in the Kingdom longer, or who wish to change the type of visa issued, must submit an application to the Immigration Thailand. Information http://www.immigration.go.th . The extension of stay and change of certain types of visa to another depends solely on the discretion of the Immigration officer.

7 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Citizens of some countries are required to apply for visa issuance only

diplomatic embassies or Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand

country of origin / country of residence, or in a designated facility for them

diplomatic channels. For this reason, travelers to Thailand are requested to contact the nearest

Embassy or the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand prior to the scheduled departure, in

to determine where they should apply for a visa to Thailand.

2 Tourist Visa

1 REQUIREMENTS

Tourist visa is issued to foreigners who wish to cross the border of the Kingdom of the

tourist.

2 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

- Passport or other travel document valid for at least 6 months,

- Visa application, completed in full,

- Passport photograph of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm),

- Copy of return ticket or ticket reservation (to and out of Thailand).  

- Copy of hotel reservation or other evidence of accommodation reservation. 

- Copy of a bank statement or evidence of adequate finance with a minimum balance of 20,000 PLN for the last 3 months from the account of each applicant (in English language). *

- Letter from applicant ́s Employer verifying his/her employment (in English language). *

Consular officer reserves the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary.

3 VISA FEES

Cost of visa: 180 PLN / Single entry  (cash only, please bring the exact amount)

4 VISA VALIDITY

Single entry visa is valid for 3 months from the issue date

Multiple entries visa is valid for 6 months from the issue date

5 DURATION OF VISIT

Travellers coming to Thailand on a tourist visa may remain in the

Kingdom for a period not longer than 30 or 60 days from the date of entry. Citizens of the countries listed in the list of countries exempted from the obligation to hold a tourist visa, or with which Thailand has signed bilateral agreements on visa-free travel may remain in the Kingdom for a period not longer than 60 days. Citizens of other countries may remain in the Kingdom for a period not longer than 30 days.

3 Non-Immigrant Visas

1 REQUIREMENTS

Visas for non-immigrants is issued to foreigners who wish to cross the border of the Kingdom for the purposes of:

- The performance of official duties (Category "F"),

- Conducting business / to work (Category "B"),

- Investment (with the consent of the competent Ministries and Departments Thailand)

- Investment or other related investment activities, subject to provisions of the current regulations relating to investment promotion (Category "IB"),

- Take science, business trip or traveling observational study, participate in projects or seminars, conferences or training courses of study to become a foreign Buddhist monk (Category "ED"),

- To work as a film producer, journalist or reporter (Category "M"),

- Scientific research or training or research institute lining

(Category "RS"),

- Work that requires high specialization, or as an expert or specialist (Category "EX")

- Other (category "O"), including: connection to family duties for

state-owned enterprises or social service organizations, care for an elderly person after

retired, to undergo treatment, to take over as coach of sports (in accordance with the

Thai government), the appointment of a witness or participant trial.

 

2 REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

2.1 Applicants for non-immigrant must submit the following documents in

- Visa application, completed in full,

- Passport or other travel document valid for at least 6 months (18 months in case of applying for a visa for a period of one year),

- Passport photograph of the applicant (3.5 x 4.5 cm), made in the past six months,

- Copy of residence card (For Foreigners)

- Birth certificate (category "O"),

- Marriage certificate or equivalent document (category "O"),

- Copy / document acceptance of the concerned schools / universities or institutes (Category "ED"),

- Letter from the Board of Investment of Thailand (category "IB"),

- An official document certifying the destination from the Agency for Government / Embassy or Consulate / International Organizations / State Enterprises in Thailand (category "F" / "B" / "ED" / "M" / "R"),

- A letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Labour (to receive such a letter, prospective employer in Thailand is required to submit a form "Form WP3" in the Office of Administration

Employees abroad, the Department of Employment of the Ministry of Labour, tel (02)

- A letter from the company that employs the administration to stay in Thailand (category "B"),

- Documents confirming the exchange of correspondence with business partners in Thailand

(Category "B)

- A letter inviting from companies qualified to employ foreigners

(Category "B"),

- An employment contract containing the reason of employment to the applicant and his / her

salary, position and qualifications (document must be signed by authorized managing director and affixed the seal certified company) (category "B"),

- A copy of a work permit issued by the Ministry of Labour (only in case

the applicant has previously taken a job in the Thailand) (category "B"),

- Copies of corporate documents, namely: 1) a list of shareholders; 2) an extract from the register of entrepreneurs and permit / license to operate; 3) the activities of the company; 4) details on the company's operations; 5) list of foreign workers, with their full names, nationalities and positions; 6) a map showing where the headquarters is located; 7) The balance sheet, income tax returns and income tax from legal persons (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 20), 8) a foreign tax return (Por Ngor Dor 91), 9) notification to the value added tax (Por Ngor Dor 20) etc. (category "B"),

- Copies of documents proving the qualification of the applicant and the list

of recommendation from previous employers, including the responsibilities and

service period (category "B"),

- A document containing the number of foreign tourists (only for business tourism), or a document containing a list of export transactions issued by the bank (only in the case of export) (category "B").

2.2. Documents that must be submitted when applying for a visa for a non-immigrant depends on the need and appropriateness of the objectives inscribed in the application.

2.3. Consular officers have the right to require additional documents, if they deem it

appropriate.

2.4. Copies of company documents must be signed by the members of the Management Company and

confirmed by stamp or company seal.

2.5. In the absence of any of the required documents, must be submitted a letter explaining the reasons for its failure to submit.

2.6. The applicant must sign on each page of copies of documents.

2.7. Documents made in foreign must be translated into Thai. If there are

translated into English, should be certified by a notary public or a section

diplomatic / consular applicant.

3 VISA FEES

Cost of visa: 360 PLN / 1 entry or 750 PLN / more than 1 entry  (cash only, please bring the exact amount)

4 VISA VALIDITY

Visas single-and multiple-entry visas are valid for 3 months. Multiple-entry visa may also be valid for a period of one year.

5 DURATION OF VISIT

Foreigners staying in Thailand on the basis of visas for non-immigrant initially

receive a permit to stay in the Kingdom for a period not longer than 90 days, unless the

Office of Immigration decides otherwise.

6 EXTENSION OF STAY

Skilled workers can obtain a residence permit for an additional 12 months, counted from the date of entry into the territory of the Kingdom in accordance with the regulations of the Immigration Office on extension of stay. Extension of stay depends solely on the discretion of the Immigration officer.

4 Diplomatic visa / Uniforms

- At the official request, Embassies and Consulates General of the Kingdom of Thailand may issue visas to holders of diplomatic or official passports who plan to take positions in foreign embassies, consulates or organizations

international in the Kingdom, and members of their families.

- This request should be accompanied by diplomatic note, and / or documents issued by the

the government of the requesting State or international organization, certifying the identity and purpose of the stay of a foreigner at the time of residence in the territory of the Kingdom.
 

5 Visa courteous

- At the official request, Embassies and Consulates General of the Kingdom of Thailand may issue

visas to holders of diplomatic, service or ordinary passports who plan to take to enter into the Kingdom, in order to perform their official duties, or for other purposes.

- This request should be accompanied by documents issued by a government agency, government

the requesting country or international organization, certifying the identity and purpose of the stay of a foreigner at the time of residence in the territory of the Kingdom.
