Visa applications submitted by post must be sent to

Royal Thai Embassy (Visa Section)

29-30 Queen's Gate

London SW7 5JB

Please send the documents by Royal Mail Special Delivery (You can track the delivery status via Royal Mail: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item). The embassy will not be held responsible for lost / stolen / damaged passports and documents. It is recommended to use the stamps to send and return rather than a franking stamp from the post office as franking stamps will limit the date of posting.

From 15 June 2019, visa applicants in the UK and Ireland who are eligible and wish to apply by post have to fill in application form and make payment online, before sending their passports, the confirmation page with barcode and fee for return postage to the Embassy.  The old paper-based visa application form has been revoked since 14 June 2019.  We need your original passports to affix visa stickers.

14 June 2019 will be the last day the Embassy will process visa application by post, submitted with the old visa application forms. Any old visa applications received after 14 June 2019 will be returned to the applicants.

Applicants are required to set up an account and submit visa applications as an individual, or apply through travel agencies as previously, where travel agencies will submit online applications on their behalf. However, supporting documents have to be attached and payment of visa fee in pound sterling (£) has to be made online through secured portal. There will be no refund if visa application is rejected, or applicants paid for multiple entry visa but only eligible to get single entry visa.

Applicants can either book an appointment to submit their passports and visa applications in person at the Embassy, or submit them by post. Failure to attach supporting documents properly could result in rejection of your visa application.

Please note that the Royal Thai Consulates in Cardiff, Gibraltar, Glasgow, Hull, and Liverpool in the UK, and in Dublin, Ireland, will continue to receive and process visa applications in the same way. Those who wish to apply for visa at the Royal Thai Consulates can continue to do so as usual.
