Thailand-Malaysia’s Air Connectivity

 

 

On 18 May 2018, AirAsia celebrated its inaugural flight from Kuala Lumpur to the coastal town of Hua Hin, Thailand which marked the seventh route to Thailand by AirAsia.

 

Currently, there are average of 45 flights daily between Malaysia and Thailand operated by Thai Airways, Thai Smile Airways, Bangkok Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, AirAsia, Malindo Air and Royal Jordanian Airlines.

 

Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur ─ 21 flights daily

Bangkok-Penang ─ 4 flights daily

Bangkok-Johor Bahru ─ 4 flights weekly

Chiang Mai-Kuala Lumpur ─ 2 flights daily

Pattaya-Kuala Lumpur ─ 4 flights weekly

Phuket-Kuala Lumpur ─ 8 flights daily

Phuket-Penang ─ 2 flights daily

                              - Firefly, Daily from 25 March 2018

                              - AirAsia, Daily from 1 July 2018

Krabi-Kuala Lumpur ─ 3 flights daily

Samui-Kuala Lumpur ─ 1 flight daily

Hat Yai-Penang ─ 4 flights weekly

Hat Yai-Kuala Lumpur ─ 1 flight daily

                                     ─ 4 flights weekly

Hua Hin-Kuala Lumpur ─ 4 flights weekly (AirAsia, from 18 May 2018)

 

 

Tourists can also fly from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Muang International Airport to major tourist destinations through regular domestic flights operated by Thai Airways, Nok Air, Orient Thai Airlines and Bangkok Airways as well as explore small and charming hidden gems like Mae Hong Son, Chumphon with Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways and AirAsia.
