  • Introduction of "visa stamp" New
From 14 March 2018 onwards, the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kolkata, has begun issuing "visa stamps" for all types of visas.
N O T I C E The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kolkata wishes to inform that a great number of applications for Thai visas submitted to the Royal Thai Consulate-General have been detected with unauthentic signatures. This practice, known as falsification of official documents, constitutes a serious offense against Thai rules and regulations, with criminal and civil responsibilities to be borne by the applicants, the travel agencies at the origin of the applications, and the visa processing companies acting on behalf of the applicants. The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Kolkata kindly requests that all visa applicants and concerned parties pay the highest attention to the authenticity as well as the completeness of all visa applications before submitting, in order to ensure that the visa granting process can be conducted within reasonable period of time, and prevent any offense which may arise and lead to voiding or rejection of visa applications without refund. He sat at the pinnacle of His society, but constitutional ruler King BhumibolAdulyadej of Thailand was a monarch and a man who was down to earth. Many dealt with improving water, agriculture, livelihoods and health. As one of His closest aides said, however, “we were always confronted with soil issues.”
