Thai Students Awarded Gold and Silver Medals at the 16th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) in Doha, Qatar

On 11 December 2019, H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, and officials of the Embassy, attended the closing ceremony of the 16th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) at Qatar National Convention Center to congratulate a team of Thai students who participated in the International Junior Science Olympiad in Doha, Qatar. This year's IJSO received 409 participants from 70 countries. The Thai team was successfully awarded 4 gold and 2 silver medals as follows: 1. Master Yannaruk Thawornrungkit from Montfort College, Chiangmai Province (Gold Medal) 2. Miss Nichawadee Kanjanakosit from Thidanukhro School, Songkhla Province (Gold Medal) 3. Mr. Pasit Laoteng from Saengthong Vitthaya School, Songkhla Province (Gold Medal) 4. Mr. Supphanat Anantachaisophon from Saengthong Vitthaya School, Songkhla Province (Gold Medal) 5. Miss Preechaya Naraprasertkul from Thidanukhro School, Songkhla Province (Silver Medal) and 6. Master Kanissorn Kiratipongvoot from Saengthong Vitthaya School, Songkhla Province (Silver Medal). The team was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sittiporn Pattaradilokrat from Chulalongkorn University (Biology), Mr. Itthipol Sungwienwong from Srinakharinwirot University (Chemistry) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittiwit Matan from Mahidol University (Physics).
