The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha Organized Beach Cleanup Volunteer Activity on the Occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day 5 December 2019

On 6 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Doha organized beach cleanup volunteer activity on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day 5 December 2019 at Al Yusufiya Beach in Al Ruwais which is located in the north of Qatar. H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Qatar, Mr. Nopadol Penglong, Chairman of the Committee of Thai Community in Qatar, Miss Kongkan Chitratanachinda, Principal of Thai Language and Culture School in Qatar, officials and staff of the Embassy as well as Thai community in Qatar joined the activity. The beach cleanup was organized together with Doha Environmental Actions Project (DEAP) which is a group of volunteers dedicated to preserve the environment of the beach and sand dunes in Qatar, as well as to raise awareness on reducing plastic waste. Approximately 110 volunteers joined the activity.
